“You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem…”

~Winnie the Pooh

Why We Do This:

We started the Skydive South Boston because of our desire to share this incredible experience with anyone willing to go. Skydiving can be so much more than a bucket list item, it creates a moment in time that you must choose to conquer fear or succumb to it. This threshold is a powerful place, and for those who cross it, a new world opens. At the core of this desire are these values:

  • Safety is always the first priority
  • Empower our students to reach new heights (pun kinda intended)
  • Create an epic experience for every student

Do.

Now, more than ever, we spend our days looking down, whether it’s at our phone, keyboard, or our feet beneath the desk. We follow peoples virtual life and imagine how wonderful it would be to live like them, doing exciting things, seeing amazing sights. Every turn contains another screen to hold your attention, trying to make you more envious yet subdued. That’s why we started the Boston Skydive Company, it’s time to stop watching and start doing.

Something.

Skydiving cannot be explained by comparison, it is something beyond explanation. Jumping from a plane elicits not just one emotion but many. Fear, excitement, relief, joy, all can be felt in mere seconds. Pushing your limits can open doors that have remained locked out of fear, it can empower you to break out of the mold, and do great things. If you know you want something incredible, do something incredible.

Real.

Countless hours are spent thinking about the future, or the past. So much so that the present, what is real, is often brushed aside and not considered until we are snapped back into focus by quitting time. Skydiving is often seen as an adrenaline-junkie activity, but to the surprise of many, it can be peaceful. When you launch from the aircraft, the is nothing more real than that moment. You brain won’t be thinking about anything but what is happening right then, you will be in the present, and nowhere else is more real than the present.
